Not sure if anyone will ever read this. Just wanted a space to write down some thoughts about working at Sunlight. Things have been good lately — lots of projects in motion, especially with Charlie and Friends. The execs are proud.

Something weird happened on the Radio Division side. I’m not even supposed to be over there, but a friend let me listen in. There was… static, but underneath it, a voice I didn’t recognize. Nobody upstairs is talking about it. They told us to “ignore anomalies.”

We had to pull some old episodes of Charlie and Friends for re-airing, but the tapes are different than I remember. The characters don’t act the same — especially Charlie. It feels… wrong, like the timing is off. I asked if these were dubs or alternates, but the archivist just went pale and said, “Don’t ask.”

Management says ratings are still strong. Kids love the show. Parents don’t complain. But watching the new season makes me feel sick. I swear I saw something in the background of one episode — like a shadow moving where it shouldn’t. They cut that scene out of reruns.

Stayed late working. Heard the old radio transmitter power up by itself. I thought we weren’t using it anymore. Walked down to check. The door was locked. Nobody should have been inside.

I keep dreaming about static. Every dream, the same voice is there, whispering. I think it’s saying my name. I haven’t told anyone. Maybe I should stop writing this.

I think they know I’ve been keeping notes. Found my desk drawer open when I came in this morning. Someone’s been in here. If this is the last update I make, check the tapes. The early ones. There’s something hidden there.
